OUR PHILOSOPHY

SODARCA Defense is a company with nearly fifty years of experience in the arms sector, dedicated to supporting and serving those who guarantee our security and defend national values, both at home and abroad. Our team is made up of professionals with military experience, which gives them in-depth knowledge of the challenges, criteria and priorities of the entities we serve.

CERTIFICATIONS

SODARCA Defense is part of the National Defence Technological and Industrial Base (BTID), and is recognised and accredited by the Ministries of National Defence, Internal Affairs and Justice, under the terms of article 4 of Decree-Law no. 397/98, of 17 December, for the commercialisation of military goods and technologies.

We are duly accredited to supply equipment and solutions to the Portuguese Armed Forces (Army, Navy and Air Force), as well as to the security forces and services (PSP, GNR, SEF, ASAE, Polícia Judiciária, GISP), through public procedures and other forms of official contracting.

In addition, SODARCA Defense is certified with NATO SECRET and NATO PROCURER levels through NSPA (NATO Support and Procurement Agency), which enables us to participate in international public contracts within the scope of NATO.

The company also holds a gunsmith's license issued by the PSP's National Arms and Explosives Council, proving our legal and technical aptitude for the storage and management of firearms and ammunition.

Recent Success Facts

  • We are official suppliers of ammo and gear to Armed Forces and Security Forces.
  • Sodarca acted as a representative for the Belgium Engine Center, who assisted the Portuguese Air Force in the maintenance of the Portuguese F16 fighter aircrafts.
  • We provided shooting ranges for the training of certified Judiciary Police investigators.
  • We equipped all Portuguese Armed Forces with Glock Gen3 pistols.
  • We equipped Foreigners and Border Services with Glock Gen3 pistols.
